Splatoon 3 Change Hairstyle

Splatoon 3 lets you style your inkling however you like, and one such change you can make is their hairstyle. Unfortunately, this option isn’t available in an easy fashion. Here’s where to find the menu that can help you change your hairstyle in Splatoon 3.

Switching to a different hairstyle in Splatoon 3 isn’t as easy as picking out a new shirt or hat. Instead, press the + button to boot up the inventory menu. You’ll see “Weapons,” “Headgear,” “Clothes,” “Shoes,” “Other,” and “Emotes” as categories. You’ll want to pick the fifth option “Other” on this screen and press the A button to confirm your selection.

At this point, you should see the “TV/Tabletop Mode” options that ask for your parameters on Motion Control Sensitivity and the selection of turning Motion Controls on or off. From here, switch to another tab on the “Other” menu by pressing R twice.

Under “Style,” you can now change your hairstyle in Splatoon 3 however you’d like.

No matter the gender you pick for your Inkling, you can pick feminine or masculine hair, which is a cool gesture from Nintendo for players without a gender. There are 16 hairstyles to choose from, including pigtails, long bangs, and spiky. Unfortunately, you can’t change the colour as that determines your team in the game. It constantly changes.

On the other hand, you can also change your eyebrows and your legwear if you so desire. For example, your inkling can wear jeans or leggings with shorts, which looks stylish on a splatting match.

If you haven’t been able to check out Splatoon 3 yet, you should read our glowing review of the game. “The story this time around is a riot that is full of fun twists and turns, and the length of the single player this time is much longer than before,” said Jason Capp.
