How To Quickly Respawn To A Checkpoint In OlliOlli World
In OlliOlli World, you will fail many times, and due to how the UI works, you may start from the beginning every time as it encourages you to hold a certain button. Fortunately, there’s a way to quickly respawn to the last checkpoint.
Rewind OlliOlli World
To respawn to the last checkpoint you’ve encountered, simply press the X button on the Nintendo Switch rather than holding it. The neat thing is that you can respawn at any point if you miss a certain collectible for a side quest or flounder a combo of tricks.
You’ll know when you hit a checkpoint if you hear a sound from any of the local heroes like Cruz, Aurore, and Swifty (the characters who hang out with you at the end of a track).
We recommend as you’re playing through the game’s tutorials to speak to the local heroes. They will provide you with guidance on how to play OlliOlli World better.
OlliOlli World is a tricky game, so feel free to quickly respawn as much as possible in the game. From our playthrough so far, we’ve noticed there isn’t a reduction of points for doing this at the end, other than losing them from restarting.
Keep practicing and you’ll eventually get there. You just need some patience if you’re struggling with a certain track. Maybe return to a prior level, complete its objectives, and try again later on.
