2023 in Pokemon GO is Starting Off Strong, Including Chespin Community Day
Niantic has announced a couple big things recently, and they include events in January. 2023 in Pokemon GO is going to be a bit one, as we will be getting a New Years event as well as Chespin Community Day in the month of January!
For starters, new costumed Pokemon will be appearing during the New Years event, including another new Pikachu with a hat. Last year’s Hoothoot with a festive top hat returns, but this time we will be able to evolve it into Noctowl with the festive top hat! Wurmple with the party hat returns, too, and there will be new costumes for your avatar, new stickers to send to your friends, and so much more. For shiny hunters out there, eggs will be hatching all the baby Pokemon, and many more hat-wearing favorites return in raids.

Chespin Community Day
2023 in Pokemon GO continues to look great, as Chespin will be the featured Pokemon for January’s Community Day. On Saturday, January, 7th, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. your local time, you can experience a plethora of the spiny nut Pokemon in the wild, in tasks, and even in eggs. If you are lucky, you will get a shiny Chespin, and this shiny is a beaut!
Evolve Quilladin (Chespin’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get a Chesnaught that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant, which is a very strong move in Pokemon GO.
There will also be a paid event ticket for those interested that will cost $1 USD, and there will be lots of bonuses throughout the event. For more, head on over to the blog page.
