Pokemon GO Lush Jungle Event Announced, Debuts Fomantis, Lurantis, & Tapu Lele

Niantic has announced details on the upcoming Pokemon Go Lush Jungle event, which will debut Fomantis, Lurantis, and Tapu Lele in the mobile game for the first time in the popular mobile title.

The Pokemon GO Lush Jungle event featuring Fomantis, Lurantis, and Tapu Lele, will take place between March 22nd, 2022 at 10am to March 29th, 2022 at 8pm your local time.

Check out the details from Niantic:

  • Lush Jungle park spotlight: On Saturday, March 26, 2022, and Sunday, March 27, 2022, Cottonee will be appearing more frequently in parks—and for the first time in Pokémon GO, lucky Trainers may encounter a Shiny Cottonee.
  • Pokémon debuts: The following Pokémon will be making their debuts in Pokémon GO.
  • Fomantis, the Sickle Grass Pokémon
  • Lurantis, the Bloom Sickle Pokémon
  • The Legendary Pokémon Tapu Lele, the guardian deity of Akala Island
  • Special Research: The Season of Alola’s second Special Research story will be available at the beginning of the event. To learn more about this Season’s Special Research, visit the Season of Alola website.
  • Timed Research: Trainers who complete certain Timed Research tasks during the event will earn items and encounters with various event-themed Pokémon, like Fomantis.
  • Wild Encounters: The following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
  • Metapod, Paras*, Exeggcute*, Hoothoot*, Sudowoodo*, Ferroseed*, and Fomantis
  • If Trainers are lucky: Pinsir and Cottonee*
  • Raids: The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids.
  • One-star raids: Bellsprout*, Tangela*, Sewaddle, and Cottonee*
  • Three-star raids: Butterfree, Vileplume, Parasect, and Exeggutor
  • Five-star raids: Tapu Lele
  • Mega Raids: Mega Charizard Y*
  • Field Research: The following Pokémon will be available to encounter when Trainers complete Field Research tasks.
  • Caterpie*, Exeggcute*, Sunkern*, Wurmple*, Seedot*, Cottonee*, Ferroseed*, and Fomantis
  • If Trainers are lucky: Paras*and Parasect*
