All of the Chocobo GP Characters and Maps Currently Available

Chocobo GP has officially been out for a few days now, and although it isn’t the greatest experience due to its nickel-and-diming, Chocobo GP is still a fun kart racer with a lot to offer.

As of now, there is a decent roster of characters and maps to race on with more characters on the way through the game’s Seasons. Without further ado, here are the characters and tracks currently available on Chocobo GP!

Characters

The following list are all 23 available characters in Chocobo GP, with a note on which ones are limited to the Lite version:

• Clair
• Camilla
• Camilla’s Pa
• Shirma (Available in Lite)
• Cid
• Irma
• Ben (Available in Lite)
• Terra
• Maduin
• Vivi
• Steiner
• Ifrit
• Asura
• Titan
• Racing Hero X
• Gilgamesh
• Necroshell
• Sylph
• Ramuh
• Shiva
• Mecha Chocobo

New characters will be available through Seasons over the course of the game. Square Enix is providing players with 800 mythril for a limited time as a Season One login bonus. This will let players acquire Cloud from Final Fantasy VII as a level reward for the Season. Players will also have the opportunity to obtain Final Fantasy VIII’s Squall from the Gil Shop.

Lasting roughly two months, each Season will present special rewards which players can earn by raising their season score and season level through participation in Chocobo GP Mode. An optional Prize Pass will be available for purchase, granting players access to additional rewards and the ability to earn resources, such as Gil, more efficiently. Gil can be used to purchase various rewards in the in-game Gil Shop.

Race Tracks

A little on the slimmer side, Chocobo GP only boasts 9 unique areas. However, it is important to not that each map has 2-4 different versions of itself which increases the total tracks. The following are the currently available maps:

• Chocobo Farm
• Cid’s Test Track
• Monster Village
• Zozo
• Alexandria
• Big Bridge
• Gold Saucer
• Interdimensional Rift Alpha
• Interdimensional Rift Omega

There is no word on whether or not new tracks or areas will be added to the game, but we will be sure to update you as new information from Square Enix comes forward.

The game is available on the eShop in all regions now, offering both the main version and a free Lite version. There is also a physical version of the game, but it is only available in select areas like Asia and Europe.
