Triangle Strategy – The Encampment Explained

The Encampment in Triangle Strategy is a pivotal part of your journey throughout the world, allowing you to upgrade your weapons, buy new items, and take part in trial fights. It can be a little confusing though, so here I am to try to help with that.

Encampment Characters

There are a number of characters you can visit in The Encampment, all of which deal in different things.

  • The Portly Merchant – Sells a selection of Items and Accessories, and he will also purchase from the player in need of cash
  • Eagle-Eyed Elder – Quietuses dealer
  • Young Smithy – Upgrades weapons and unlocks some skills.
  • Gregarious Barkeep – Allows players to fight mock battles and gain materials and gold.

Each of these will be unlock-able at different points in the story:

  • The Sundry Merchant (Eagle-Eyed Elder) is available after Chapter 3.
  • The Provisional (The Portly Merchant) is available during Chapter 2.
  • The Smithy (Young Smithy) is available during Chapter 2.
  • The Tavern (Gregarious Barkeep) is unlocked after starting Chapter 3.

Players can enter The Encampment at pretty much any time during their playtime in Triangle Strategy. Any time the menu is accessible, The Encampment will be available. Simple press ’+’ and select ‘Encampment.’ Partaking in mock battles before a tough battle can help to bring up your level, so keep that in mind.
