Sol Cresta Getting the Limited Run Treatment on Switch
Limited Run Games has announced their next physical release for the Nintendo Switch, and it is Sol Cresta! The wonderful indie game is coming to Switch and PS4 physically on February 22nd, 2022.
As is usually the case, there will be two different versions for sale: a standard edition ($49.99) and a Limited Collector’s Edition ($129.99). The latter will include a special box, a two-disc soundtrack, a metal replica ship, an enamel pin, a pair of medals, three acrylic standees, a set of art cards, and a 5.5-inch tall mini arcade cabinet replica with a video screen.

Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation strategies of classic shooting games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them with the “free-form docking” system. The flagship Yamato, composed of the ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano can utilize various attacks depending on how the three ships are aligned. Docking, splitting, and reforming the ships as needed is the key to defeating the invading armies of Mandler.
Pre-orders for these physical versions of Sol Cresta start tomorrow, February 4th, 2022. Limited Run Games will be taking reservations on their site.
