The physical version of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition now has a release date on the Nintendo Switch. It was originally planned to release back in December 2021, but it was delayed prior to that date. Today’s news actually comes directly from Nintendo, though. The company announced that GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be appearing on store shelves starting February 11th, 2022.

Now, it’s the early 90s. CJ’s got to go home – his mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of cops frame him for homicide, forcing CJ on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets in the next iteration of the series that changed everything.
Unfortunately, a download is required for the physical copy of the game, which means the cartridge does not contain the entire package. Fans were speculating this this it was announced that the title was coming to the Switch physically, but the confirmation comes from Nintendo.
