Metroid Dread Themed PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller is On the Way
As we approach the release of the highly anticipated Metroid Dread, PowerA has announced that they will be supplying a Metroid Dread themed PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller as well as a Metroid Dread themed PowerA Protection Case. PowerA has supplied a lot of themed wired and wireless controllers over the years, and we even reviewed the newly release Pikachu Checks set recently.
The Nintendo licensed, wired controller lets you program two mappable advanced gaming buttons on the back, and it has a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. Embedded anti-friction rings, which are standard on PowerA controllers, are included, as well as a long USB-C cable and a two-year warranty. Keep in mind, though, that these wired PowerA controllers do not support rumble, IR functionality, motion controls, or amiibo scanning, and they can only be used in docked mode.

You can pre-order the Metroid Dread themed PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller on Amazon now, so if you are interested, secure your controller today. According to Amazon, the controller and Protection Case are both scheduled to release on October 15th, 2021, so soon after the release of Metroid Dread.
For fans of the series, this should not be a problem, as anything Metroid themed is exciting, and this combination of controller and case for Metroid Dread looks amazing.
