Fighting Fantasy Legends Coming to Switch

Nomad Games has announced that their card-based role-playing game Fighting Fantasy Legends is headed to the Nintendo Switch later this month. Expect the exciting and popular title on the eShop when it launches on September 23rd, 2021.

Based on the classic Fighting Fantasy gamebooks by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, Fighting Fantasy Legends recreates the classic adventure books and adapts them into an exciting digital quest featuring three iconic books.

Create your own adventures in a dangerous land of monsters, treasures and traps in Fighting Fantasy Legends, a role-playing card game set in the world of Fighting Fantasy. Travel across the land of Allansia, rising from the ranks of an unknown adventurer to a legendary warrior. Play through the stories of three iconic gamebooks – City of Thieves, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain and Citadel of Chaos as you meet iconic characters such as Nicodemus the Wizard, Gareth Yaztromo and O’Seamus the Leprechaun.

Classic gamebooks brought to life

Each location has a shuffled deck of cards which includes fiendish creatures, powerful objects and dramatic events, making each play-through unique! You must build up your collection of powerful treasures and level-up your dice to have any chance of surviving the dangerous quests you shall face. Through the unique dice-based combat system, you can choose to level up either your strength or luck, depending on the playstyle you prefer.
