The Outbound Ghost Getting Physical Release on November 25
The indie adventure RPG about helping ghosts reach the afterlife, The Outbound Ghost, will be sold physically for Switch on November 25, 2022, developer Digerati has confirmed. The game will be distributed by Merge Games and will be priced at $34.99 / £29.99 / €34.99.
The Outbound Ghost Physical Edition and Features
The Outbound Ghost was originally revealed to be coming to Switch by developer Digerati and Conradical Games back in March. Digerati has yet to reveal any information regarding the digital release of the game, but affirmed that it would be available sometime this year.
In The Outbound Ghost, players must explore a literal ghost town and help several specters bound by earthly regrets. They must battle against their past, gain new abilities, solve puzzles, and uncover the mysteries of Outbound to help its residents find peace in their ghostly limbo.
Featuring a colorful cast of characters, a deep combat and badge system, and an adorable 2.5D world inhabited by paper-style characters, The Outbound Ghost is a unique and thought-provoking RPG venture.

In the world of The Outbound Ghost, ghosts are the embodiment of regret. Most people go to the afterlife after dying, yet those who were unhappy with their previous lives become ghosts and are forced to haunt the Earth until they right their wrongs. Of course, this is not always possible since doing this as a ghost is orders of magnitude harder than when you are a human.
However, some manage to do this and are able to spend the rest of their deaths in the afterlife. In The Outbound Ghost, your task is to help others fix or come to terms with their past lives so that they can enjoy the pleasures of eternal bliss. You must achieve that for yourself too, but it’s not so easy to mend the mistakes of your past life when you don’t even remember them.
