IGN First Shows Initial Palico & Palamute Options in Monster Hunter Rise
Today, IGN First shared a fun video for Monster Hunter Rise that shows off all the initial Palico and Palamute customization options when you launch the game. For those unfamiliar, Palico are cat-like creatures that have been a staple part of the Monster Hunter franchise for most of the previous entries. They serve as a partner of sorts when playing single player and can even join in two or three player games. Palico can fight, heal, and assist in many ways during the hunt and are just so darn cute.
Now, in Monster Hunter Rise, Palamute are making their debut. The Palamute are dogs that you can ride and even fight off the back of. They are not quite as resourceful as their feline counterpart, but they have their own stamina, making travel so much quicker and easier.

CAPCOM has usually done a great job allowing its Monster Hunter players to customize their avatar and Palico, so it is great to see that the customization options this time around are seemingly even more deep than previous titles.
