Elland: The Crystal Wars

Elland: The Crystal Wars, a Dune title that was supposed to release for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001, is making a triumphant return! After 20 years, the title is back and up on Kickstarter, where it has already blasted past its funding goal and is looking to raise even more.

About Elland: The Crystal Wars

In 2001, development began on an ambitious Gameboy Advance game based on a popular franchise. Maybe the project was a little too ambitious because it was cancelled in 2002 and the team walked away, leaving it untouched for twenty years.

Today, we have finally secured the rights to this unfinished gem and are ready to bring it onto the market as a fully-developed physical Gameboy Advance game, complete with a case and manual and other goodies.

Although we weren’t able to get the license for the franchise this game was originally tied in with, we think it’s an awesome game way ahead of its time and modern audiences are gonna love it.

Stretch Goals

☐ $20,000- Short documentary film featuring the original developers along with the new team.

☐ $30,000- Cheat codes added to the game.

☐ $40,000- Bonus merch items. The pins and stickers are pricey to produce in small quantities, but by $40,000 it’ll be safe to say we can afford it.

☐ $45,000- PC port

☐ $50,000- Localization(English + German, French, Spanish, and Italian)

☐ $55,000- Added new auto lock features to the weapons of the game.

☐ $70,000- Add canyon mission to the game. Extended content.

☐ $80,000- Add sand ocean mission to the game. Extended content.
